Silybum marianum is an edible plant that like other members of the thistle family possesses significant liver detoxifying properties. It is used with all manner of liver disorders, everything from cirrhosis to hepatitis. It has almost no known side effects except possibly for those who are allergic to ragweed and marigold and other plants in the same family.

   
 
Artemisia Annua Extract, 2 oz. Artemisia Annua, 2 oz.

Artemisia annua, also known as Sweet Annie, is a famous anti-malarial herb that contains an alkaloid, artemisinin, that has shown remarkable cytotoxic properties.

Contains: extract of Artemisia annua leaf in distilled water, organic alcohol, and pure vegetable glycerin.

Black Walnut Extract, 2 oz. Black Walnut, 2 oz.

The Cherokee used the nut as an anthelmintic, especially for tapeworms. Peter Holmes adds roundworms to the list. Black walnut has laxative properties but is well tolerated. It relieves lymphatic congestion, presumably mainly in patients with parasitic infections.

Research in Germany suggests that boswellia reduces edema in the brain. The herb is also an excellent parasiticide and should be considered for those who suspect brain parasites.

This product is made from the resin of an Indian frankincense.

Milk thistle is one of the most famous liver herbs. It is both hepatoprotective as well as effective in the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the liver and gall bladder, including inflammation, swelling, and cirrhosis.

Contains: extract of Silybum marianum seeds in organic grain alcohol and distilled water.

Organic Turmeric Extract, 2 oz. Turmeric Extract, 2 oz.

Turmeric is what gives curry powder the yellow color. It has been a favorite culinary spice in Africa and Asia for millenia, but it also has medicinal value, particularly in helping to metabolize fat, including fatty deposits in tissues. It is entirely safe in enormous doses; effects are gradual and cumulative.

Contains: organic Curcuma longa root in organic grain alcohol.
